The III Turespaña Convention brings together in Kursaal more than 500 tourism managers from the private sector and the different administrations - central and Basque governments, provincial and local councils - to debate and share experiences on the present and future of tourism under the title 'The Sustainable Transformation of Tourism'.
With this objective in mind, the sessions of the 3rd Turespaña Convention include speeches, round tables, market presentations and bilateral meetings between the different public and private actors and the Spanish Tourism Councillors abroad. The convention hosts 22 events (14 presentations, six round tables and two talks). A new feature of this edition is the presentation of best practice cases of sustainable tourism projects being developed in Spain, and of collaboration between Turespaña and companies or destinations, to improve the efficiency of investment in both public and private promotion.
